Company Overview
L&M Estate Service is a premium estate management firm based in Central Virginia, offering complete stewardship for private estates. From overseeing homes, grounds, and vehicles to coordinating staff and vendors, the company blends hands-on care with strategic planning to preserve and enhance high-value properties.
Founded in 2025, it grew out of L&M Land Management (est. 2020), which specialized in forestry mulching, excavation, and land-care services. Today, L&M delivers tailored solutions for estate owners across Charlottesville, Barboursville, Madison, Greene, Albemarle, and surrounding areas, ensuring properties are managed with excellence for generations to come.
Founders Section
Justin Mays grew up working on his grandparents’ nursery and family farm in Southern Virginia, where he gained an early respect for land and property care. Over the years, he built a diverse career in construction, hospitality, and estate management, overseeing multi-residence properties such as Edgewood Miller Farm and Crescere Farm.
An entrepreneur at heart, Justin also founded L&M Land Management before co-founding L&M Estate Services, where he now applies decades of hands-on experience to provide comprehensive estate stewardship. He lives in Greene County with his wife Sandra and their three daughters — Cedar, River, and Sage.

Henry Lancaster brings extensive experience in agriculture, land management, and estate care to his role as Co-Founder of L&M Estate Services. His background spans farming, excavation, and property oversight, giving him the skills to manage complex estates, coordinate contractors, and maintain every detail with precision.
Known for his reliability and strategic approach, Henry ensures that each estate receives the highest level of care. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring new technologies, creative projects, and the outdoors.
